Senior Band, Choir, & Flags

Music Director: Jean Morrison

The band starts off the year with marching during the Homecoming parade.  Throughout the year band members are kept busy playing at all the basketball games and wrestling tournaments held at Howard.  Both the high school and junior high students put on a winter and spring concert.  This year found us with a new addition to the concert list: a jazz concert!  Individual students or groups can take solos/ensembles to contest.  Jean Winker is both the band and vocal teacher.
