High School Resources

High school students are presented with many exciting opportunities and usually a few challenges.  We are committed to supporting and assisting our students as they navigate their high school years and acquire the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions, explore career interests and post-graduation options, and ultimately live a successful and fulfilling life.  Students all vary in their abilities, attitudes, interests, needs, goals and values so they are encouraged to meet with the Student Advocate often during their high school years.

Support and programs are available in these areas for high school students:

  • Goal setting and decision-making
  • Communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Career awareness and options
  • College planning and visits
  • Understanding self and others
  • Peer relationships and social skills
  • Career, academic and personality assessments
  • Personal Learning Plans
  • Scholarship and financial aid information
