Public Housing Authority Director’s Association (PHADA) Scholarship Program Open to high school seniors who reside in public or assisted housing.

Davis-Bahcall Scholarship Program Open to students age 18 or older at time of travel who are high school seniors or college freshmen at time of application. You must attend a South Dakota public, private, home school, or post-secondary institution, or have graduated from a South Dakota high school . You must have a demonstrated interest in science with the intent of pursuing an advanced degree in a math, science, engineering or technology field. Program Summary: Davis-Bahcall Scholars will have the chance to spend one week of their summer digging deep into the science and engineering that exists at the Sanford Underground Laboratory, based in Lead, SD. They will spend three weeks studying modern physics at Princeton University in New Jersey under world-renowned scholars and researchers. They will also travel to research laboratories at home and possibly in Europe (funding permitting) to experience the world of modern scientific research.

Ross Wagner Scholarship Open to students majoring in civil, biomedical, aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, and chemical engineering. Students seeking degrees in chemistry and physics may also apply. In addition, the student must attend one of the top 30 engineering schools in the U.S. and Canada as rated by U.S. News and World Report, specifically those that include Doctorate programs. Additionally, McGill University, the University of Waterloo and Simon Fraser University at Vancouver, British Columbia are eligible schools.
